STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style for the wide footed Used to wear Italian but now need the extra width of the EEE. EA hits the spot. Keep up the good work!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead soles Bought these at the DC store last year and in my closet they sit. For one, the un-cushioned leather foot bed in both boots curls up at the edges and is separated from the upper leather so much that it digs into my heels. This is enough to cause blood blisters to form after only a short time in the boots. I've tried using insoles but am unable to find any thin enough to allow adequate height for my instep and still provide relief to my heels. Secondly, of all the shoes I own, these are by far the least cushioned soles I've experienced. The boots are unwearable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Uniquely appealing boots These boots are non-uniformly coated with a protective wax/oil layer to create a smooth, firm—yet flexible—upper. This gives the boot a certain distressed but polished appearance with a bit of sheen in the light. It’s this appearance that gives the boot added versatility. This appearance is something the buyer MUST acknowledge and accept beforehand to appreciate the intended look and appeal of the boot. The suede feels firmer, textured, and smoothed throughout because of the coating. My pair was also received with a “stripe” down the middle of the upper and have understood the explanation as an inherent outcome related to the construction process. Reassuringly, this stripe eventually blends in to the point of negligibility over the course of wear. The boots do run slightly narrow. I’m a consistent D width in other AE oxfords, loafers, and boots, but selected an E width in these and have no complaints with comfort—easy to slip on yet snug enough to feel secure thanks to the firm elastic. There were some loose and out of place threading around the elastic bands I had to manually remove/cut, but am overall very pleased with these boots. After considering the prior reviews and minding the description, I was well aware of the kind of look these boots would have and they have met my expectations and satisfaction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely Narrow I purchased these boots a couple of months ago and while I love the look and quality, they are so much narrower than my other AE shoes. I purchased an 8D given my 5 other pairs (albeit different models) are an 8D but realized after a couple of wears that the shoes weren't actually going to break in- they were just too small/narrow. As a result, I've only worn the shoes a handful of times and now own a $400 pair of boots that simply don't fit. It's disappointing that the a) fit/cut isn't consistent with other AE models and b) the retail folks don't know to recommend a larger size for a model that clearly runs narrow!

    No Wax Finish?

Can this boot be ordered without the wax finish? The wax finish destroys the look in my opinion, and I would buy this boot if a no wax finish option was possible.

    Color choices?

Brown suede was discontinued in lieu of black suede? The black is nice, but black suede on a sleek platform like this...a little bit too much clash between dress and casual. Any chance for other colors? Black suede just seems like it would appeal to a much more narrow audience in general. In case people weren't already aware, the Liverpool is outstanding, just wish it came in more colors.

This pair of black suede is different from your typical blake suede boots as it has wax on the front coving the whole toe area giving it a shiny look and a smooth feel, almost like scuff proof but smooth.. I would compare this to a black leather boot with out that high gloss shine.. only the top of the boot has visible suede mostly it’s covered in wax which also has a shine on the toes, side and back almost like top grain leather allowing you to dress down or up. You really have to see it in person it’s nothing like the Liverpool brown/chocolate suede boots which are my favorites, I got this black suede for casual only but that toe shine allows me to dress them up too even with my perfecto so this pair definitely fall more in the dressy type shoe
