    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Alpine Lace-to-Toe Boot with Vibram Arctic Grip Rubber Sole is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost Fantastic This is going to be a mixed review, unfortunately. I really like these boots, and I want to love them. The Good: They look fantastic, and are extremely versatile. I can wear them with almost anything, and can dress them up or down. The leather is the perfect thickness, is really soft, and required almost no break-in. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn (at least the left one is - see next section), and feel as great as Sneakers. The Bad: One of them has pretty bad loose grain in the leather on the side. Like others have noted, the pull tab must be for looks only, one of mine tore at the stitches with very minimal force the second time I tried to put it on. It's unfortunate they aren't functional because these aren't the easiest to get on without loosening the laces a lot. Now for the really bad... I can overlook the loose grain and even the torn pull tab. However the insole or maybe the welt of the right boot just behind/beside my big toe has a Ridge that rubs my foot really sore. It's like I'm walking on the edge of the hard welt. So, I'm sending them back to customer service for inspection. I hope they can be fixed or replaced with a pair where both boots feel like the left one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great casual boot/shoe, vintage look, Vibram sole adds practicality. This is my fourth pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. These were purchased to be my new go-to casual shoes for fall/winter. These are made from a softer leather than other offerings I've seen, and the result is extremely comfortable. If you are certain of your size and width in AE shoes, you'll find these fit true to size. As with most open-laced shoes, these are great for those of us with wide feet. Quality seems to be typical AE, which means that it is excellent. I saw recent poor reviews, and all I have to say is that I haven't had any such problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where do I begin? These were my first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes I ever purchased. I had high expectations based on the brand name and price point. Within 2 days of use, the heel delaminated, the pull strap broke and I had awful blisters on my heel. I returned them for another pair of the exact same type. On the first day of use, the same issues occurred and my blister got worse. I returned these also much to the store’s employees surprise. Back to the drawing board for this new shoe. Vibram Soles and Allen Edmunds shoes don’t adhere properly. I will not recommend the alpine shoe to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing construction on BOTH pairs (black and brown) purchased. Very disappointed in the quality of these shoes. I bought two pairs, black and brown, and really like the way the look. However, I've had them less than 6 weeks and: - The boot strap on one of my brown pair ripped off as I was putting it on. - The heels for both the brown and black pair have started to come unglued. I've opted to take the shoes to a local shoe repair shoe given the time it would take to get them back if I were to send them away and the trust that I have in the quality of repair from the local shop.

What is the material inside the boot? Is it just soft leather or a anti sweat material?

    Asked by: VZ
The inside is soft leather, superior to anti-sweat material which wears out quicker.
