STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Dalton Wingtip Dress Boots is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 461.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dress boot I currenlty own a pair of black and walnut Dalton boots both with the dainite rubber soles and they are awesome. I typically wear a D in AE dress shoes but after trying them on I went with an E width and am happy I did. Quality is second to none and made in USA!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Third Times a Charm I was debating on purchasing these Dalton boots, but when they went on sale I pulled the trigger. I went to the store to attempt to purchase them, since I was aware of potential quality control issues. Unfortunately, the store did not have the color I wanted in stock, dark chili, so I ordered them from the store to be shipped to my house. The tongue of one of the boots on the first pair that arrived was sewn in completely lopsided, with no hope of ever becoming straight--even after breaking in. I returned those and had another pair shipped to me. Not only did the second pair have a lopsided tongue sewn in--I thought they mailed me back the same pair--but the eyelets for the laces were also noticeably misaligned. I once again took them back to the store and told them I was going to give it one more try. This time the store had two pairs shipped to them first to inspect. I ended up getting a pair, over a month after my original purchase. I have previously purchased a pair of fifth avenues from AE that had a major quality issue on the cap of the toe on the first pair I ordered. After all the hoops I have had to jump through to get an acceptable pair, on two different occasions, I will not be returning to purchase any more products from them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot! Bought a pair in dark chili right before the RDA sale, awesome customer service did a price adjustment to get the better sale price. Boots are snug and stiff, exactly what you would expect from a new pair. They run true to size. Been breaking them in with some thick socks, and I love the chestnut dainite soles. Looking forward to the years to come with these!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I believe it! I had the same experience as the gentleman from Connecticut when the same pair of returned shoes was sent back to me. Makes one wonder what on Earth is going on with this company. In the past 2 years I had to return probably 50% of the shoes I purchased on AE web site. I went back to the AE store so many times to return their impaired products, I'm on first name basis with the staff. It's tempting to fall for these frequent sales, but even that is a frustrating experience because one never knows if the next sale is going to offer an even bigger discount. In any case, I don't think that AE products are worth the premium price, even when they are on sale. I'm done with this company and will unsubscribe from their emails and probably block the web site, too.

How do these boots fit for someone with a high arch on the top of their feet?

    Asked by: Matthew
I think this would work for someone with a high arch. I do not have one and found that it did not fit well for that reason. Too much room in the arch area.

What is cordovan leather and why is it more expensive?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry! Cordovan is an equine leather made from the fibrous flat connective tissue beneath the hide on the rump of the horse. This particular leather is expensive because it is hard to come by and make. -AE Consumer Care Dept.
