STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Classic Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Sullivan Street Dress Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but runs small Beautiful boots but ran small. I wanted a 15 but the boot was obviously smaller than the other 15's I have from AE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit but took longer to break in than some other brands I purchased with similar style. I really like these shoes. I got the custom leather sole and expected the light colored leather to show along the edge fo the sole. It does not. I did not find any images online and made a poor assumption about the look. I suggest calling before custom ordering from the website. The boots took a little longer to break in the Frye boots I own of a similar style. The left boots still rubs on my heel a little bit. I like the overall style and weight of the boot. It seems true to size. This was my first Allen Edmonds product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing experience with the customer service This is my 5th pair of Allen Edmonds and it may be the last. I bought these boots to travel to NYC in the winter. I tried them at a store. Typically wear 11B, but they recommended 10.5C at the store. So when I decided to pull the trigger, called the store in San Francisco Sutter street to put the order in. We discussed 10.5D vs 11B and they said if anything we will give you the right size if I don't like it - we want you to have a pair you love. They arrived quickly in new packaging (smaller and no shoe bags). I had no QC issue, though they felt a bit tight. I though I would break them in and took to a business trip to NYC. 6 days in my feet were miserable. The biggest issue is very hard pressure at the heel that after some walking really hurts. While in NYC i left them at a local store to stretch - it got better but the heel pressure point remained. I brought them back to SF and stretched more but no luck with pressure on the heel. The store staff sent me to a local cobbler. They didn't offer a replacement or a return. So basically after a lot of babysitting I have good looking pair boots that hurt my feet so much that I can't walk them - they are completely useless. The bigger issue is that the customer service is disappointing. The right thing to do is to offer a replacement pair (maybe different style if this one is not meant to work for my feet) or a return. I'm a bit shocked especially that I have been a fan and ambassador of the brand.

    Cap Toe?

Is this boot a cap toe? Looks like there are just two rows of stitching and not actually another piece of leather on top.
    Asked by: Zach
Plain toe but stitching may suggest otherwise. It is very subtle.

What is the appropriate color lotion for the coffee-colored boot? Coffee lotion doesn't appear to be an option.

    Asked by: Anonymous
Saphir dark brown looks great on this shoe but it darkened them a little. Go with standard brown if you don't want them to darken.

Where is the letter sourced from and how does it compare to Chromacel/Horween etc?

    Asked by: R
Much of our leather we use on our shoes come from tanneries from Chicago to France and Italy to Australia. We search the globe for the finest materials to craft our shoes. The Sullivan Street is made using full grain calfskin which is known for it's softness, durability, and sophisticated look. Chromexcel is a special product made by Horween that provides great water resistant qualities. We do not use Chromexcel on this style. Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

    All weather leather like Normandy?

The description is ambiguous. Is the "All-weather" referring to the leather upper or the sole?
    Asked by: Anonymous
All-weather refers to the Dainite rubber sole which adds traction and long-lasting durability in all types of weather. While most of our leathers can tolerate a light rain, we do not consider them to be waterproof. For full protection against water or salt, we recommend using overshoes. Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

Will the DECATUR AVE DRESS BELT in brown match the brown version of the Sullivan boot?

    Asked by: Mike M
The leathers are not an exact match, but they are very close and if paired together the shoes and belt will complement each other nicely. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

    I have a sizing question.

Generally I wear a 9.5 shoe, will I be wise in getting my boot choice in the same size. Last year I bought a pair of John Fluevog boots here in Vancouver BC. Size 9 was the best fit after trying 10 and 9.5. Had to give up wearing them as one foot became very sore. I really need a good all weather/winter boot, as an airline pilot I want something with style but with a practical sole, the Sullivan looks like my boot.
    Asked by: jetdog
I can attest that this boot fits the same as several other pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes. I opted to buy mine one half size larger but the same width as my AE shoes in order to wear a thick sock in cold weather. Works out very nicely.
