    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

The relaxed fit has added space in the toe box. This extra room allows for thicker socks and foot expansion that occurs at the end of the day or during a long flight.

Normandy Cap-Toe Boot is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Boots I saw this style boot when I was a freshman in college and told myself I had to have them. Then I found the price point on them and decided that I couldn't have them just yet. Out of college now and finally able to afford a nice pair of boots and I very little could make me happier than this pair of AE's. The leather inside is some of the softest that I have come across. I am a little weary of using the loop to pull these up over the back of my heal in fear that it will rip but truthfully only time will tell in terms of durability. They fit like any good boot will at first, painful. Even with choosing the right size boots there always seems to be a break in period. I will do my best to update this review once I have them a bit more broken in. All in all however, I would recommend these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Many issues and Bad quality control The boot is ok. The tongue construction causes there to be a lot of extra leather bunched up on both sides of your foot causing painful hotspots. Idk if this is from poor quality control or by design, but the area where the tongue is sewed to the vamp going across the top of your foot is so tight, if your foot is normal sized it would be extremely painful like a vice. My foot is quite small and it's still somewhat uncomfortable. The toe area is very roomy. I wear a 8D in park avenues and I ordered an 8D in these. The toe area is more roomy in these boots than my park avenues. However, the vamp/tongue area like I said is so tight compared to the rest of the shoe. I think it might be a QC issue on mine. It makes it uncomfortable to wear them for more than an hour or two. The leather is good quality and unique, but the toe is unstructured so it has dents and creases making it look like a house slipper more than a boot. Not very happy. Wouldn't recommend anyone take the quality control gamble

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3rd Defective Pair of Boots AVOID!!!! This is an addendum to my last review I posted on these boots. At first glance they look ok right top lift is a little crooked. So I was going to settle seeing it was the third pair I've received and it was pretty much ok. However when I took my left boot off after trying them on the top lift of the heel came off. It completely detached from the boot. I'm pretty much finished with this company. I own over five pairs of AEs and I've never had an experience like this. I first thought this boot sale they are doing is a complete sham to offload low quality factory screw ups. However now I think this is the best they can do. How do you mess things up so badly? I'm beyond upset because this brand I loved so much is an embarrassment to what it once used to be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complete Junk I take no pleasure in writing this scathing review of a brand that used to be my favorite but there is something very wrong going on with the quality at Allen Edmonds. I've been through two pairs of this boot due to manufacturing errors. the first boot came with a damaged welt with the outsole stitching frayed and loose. Both heels were not angled correctly. only the forward tip would actually touch the ground. Which would cause a hot spot on my arch. It also makes them unstable to walk in. They don't do exchanges usually so I had to send the boots to recrafting for an evaluation. They determined that the boot was so far gone and irreparable they had to sent me a new pair. The second pair had the same issues with the heel as the first. However on this pair the left boot's heel counter was sewn on crooked and not centered like the right boot. You also can see the silver ink outlining where to sew the quarter onto the vamp. The left heelblock has flat spots on it and isn't rounded correctly. The stitching on the inside of both boots is sharp and pokes through my socks. Completely unacceptable for any brand let alone one that is supposed to be one of the best.

    Motorcycle Boot?

How do these holdup for biking? Will there get torn up by the gear pedal? If this isnt the best boot, what would work best for riding without the toe getting trashed from shifting? Also of particular note, I live in an area that is very warm with almost not rain/water.
    Asked by: Arizona
Get Iron Rangers. They hold up to the shift lever very well. Only boot better would have to be a purpose-built motorcycle boot. I have Normandy boots and Hamiltons that I have worn for motorcycling, but I only wear them on my Road King which has a heel/toe shifter. Hamiltons are heavy duty, love them, and they have great air flow on my bike! Just make sure you have a Dainite sole or mini lug.
