    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Patton Cap-Toe Boot with Dainite Rubber Sole is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best fitting shoe purchase ever I own about 10 different pairs of AE shoes/boots. And while they are all well made and comforts shoes, these are the most perfect fitting shoe that I have purchased from AE or anywhere else. They were immediately comfortable right out of the box and have Gotten even better with wear. Kirk

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They are my favorite boot. These boots run as claimed a bit large (relaxed). I originally tried a size D and after a first round had them crafted in a B width. My B boots boots are extremely comfortable. It’s called grey but it is really is a rustic dark brown. I cannot stop wearing them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boots in terrible condition. I was looking forward to these boots and I understand distressed Kudu leather. I own a few pairs of AEs. The condition of these shoes was the worst that I have received from any manufacturer. This pair looks previously worn and reshipped. They were not packaged like AE shoes,,.one shoe was in the shoe bag and one was out, there was no stuffing in the boots, the tops were badly folded over. There are places the stiching is not flush and there are gouches beyond any distressed leather boots that I have owned. There is a gouch in the front of one of the soles and the the soles were not perfectly clean. They looked like a bad pair of factory seconds. I didn't like writing this review..but..this is what it is. I never put them on. I will not give up on AE..but..I will go in person to buy.

Patton Cap-Toe Boot: Country of manufacture?; 2) Grey vs "Grey-Brown"

    1) I am awaiting "two" pairs of this Patton Cap-toe boot, and have major anxiety now reading that these may be made in the Dominican Republic??? NOTHING good or well made comes from the Dominican Republic. With the little American flag in the upper left of the page, I thought these boots are made in Wisconsin "USA" like all/most Allen Edmonds. Please confirm, especially after reading about poor quality and mistakes. 2) One person asked if the "Grey" boot might in fact be "Grey-Brown", and you confirmed they are "Grey Brown", yet in your mailer for the sale, they are described as "Charcoal" which is NOT Grey-Brown. I may need to return these if in fact they are not "Charcoal". Please reconfirm - both of these issues are disconcerting, especially "quality" Allen Edmonds shoes being made in the Dominican Republic..."why"?
