    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasin is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 507.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably my sixth or seventh pair. Need I say more? Love these shoes. They're well crafted and most comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Shoes - Versatile I own two pair of these shoes - brown suede with a light brown rubber sole, and tan/brown leather with a black rubber sole. I like the shoes, but the pair with the black soles leaves black marks on carpets and flooring when they get wet. I've never had a problem with the brown soles leaving marks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not comfortable No lateral support. Poor fit without heel pads. Not up to former AE quality standards. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe but too narrow. When I opened the box, I said wow. But looking more closely I was immediately concerned about the width. They were 3E, which is what I wear, but I when I put them on they were extremely tight. I had to send them back. I have two pair of Interstate 90’s and they fit perfectly. I was hoping that these more dressy shoes would fit as well.

Does the Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasin fit like the Boulevard Cap?

I have the Boulevard caps in a 9.5 E, and wear a 10.5 D in just about every other shoe so wanted to see if the Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasins fit exactly the same as the Boulevard caps?
    Asked by: phantomphloyd
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry! Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. -AE Consumer Care Dept.

Do you need to go up in size if you have an orthotic insert?

    Asked by: T
I would not be able to put my orthotic in this shoe ---I did not move up in size to accommodate any insert.

Does the Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasin fit like the East Port boat shoe? I have pretty narrow feet.

    Asked by: MDM
The Boulder is made on the 145 last. This is a slightly square toe handsewn last with an elongated forepart; used for ae by Allen Edmonds drivers collection. The Eastport is made on the 2592 last. This is a rounded, fuller toe handsewn last. 1/8 inch longer than the 114 last to accommodate a fuller, foam sock liner and heel-to-toe padding.

What is a good belt match (color and style) to the brown with brown trim shoe?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Brown would be my guess - AE has belt colors that match their shoe colors in many cases.

Can I get the Boulder Venetians resoled?

    Asked by: Icetea32
Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasin's are not resolable. At the price they are sold and how long they last, comfort to the feet is worth every penny. It is not an economic concern for long haul if my feet benefit. Your health is more important!

Not for me, I had to remove them after about a half days use.

does it have a tall toe box. I have hammer toes and need the extra space. Thanks

    Asked by: Silver58
The Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasin will probably not serve anyone well with a hammer toe or bulbous bunions for that matter. The Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasin does come in wide width but the shoe narrows at the front and leather is relatively flat along the toes. If you don't want to have surgery to fix your hammertoe, using non-medicated padding along with shoes made with a wider and deeper toe box to accommodate your foot's shape. Some have had success using a pumice stone to shave mild hammer toe. If that is you, then try on a pair of Boulder Venetian Driving Moccasin's later on.

    Is this shoe's insole removable?

I would like to wear this shoe two days in a row. Is there a removable footbed to allow it to dry out overnight and remain fresh for the next day?

How should I treat this shoe before I begin wearing it (i.e., waterproofing, etc.)?

    Asked by: Kris
I have owned the tan color for about a year with no additional treatment on the leather. They look as good as they did when I took them out of the box and I wear them at least 4 days per week. I just ordered another pair in navy. You can't go wrong with this shoe.
