    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly made I've been buying Allen Edmonds for over 30 years and the quality is not what I had come to expect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Unexpected Pleasure I bought these from the Allen Edmonds website because 1) I needed some casual shoes, and 2) it's Allen Edmonds so I know its going to be a quality, Made In the USA product. It had been decades since I had own a so-called "boat" shoe and as soon as I put them on I remembered why it had been decades: I really, really don't like boat shoes, neither the look nor the feel. However, after wearing them I've really grown to like them quite a bit. They are far more comfortable than any boat shoe I'd owned before, they are such a quality product and, like all my Edmonds, I just enjoy wearing them. Stylish without being "hip" or "trendy" in an annoying way. Just a classic look that works for me far, far better than any brand of boat shoe I'd ever owned before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is now my daily shoe instead of Nashua. Better balance. Good walking shoe. Won’t slip on wet pavement. This is now my daily go to shoe instead on the Nashua.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good... This is my first pair of deck shoes, and my third pair of Allen Edmonds. That should say a lot. As far as I'm concerned the quality is there. I've only had these deck shoes for a short time, but I'm confident they will be as comfortable down the road as they are now.

The leather on my two pairs of Eastports from summer of 2018 are softer and not polished. Has the leather and/ or tanning process been changed?

Last years were more supple. I’m sure wearing them has softened them up but the leather does seem markedly different

Can the shoe be resoled in the future if needed. Can Allen edmonds do this?

I/m looking at the Eastport Boat Shoe. I normally wear a 6.5 D. Will the 6.5 E work for me?

    Asked by: Brent
Hello, Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. Please keep in mind that each width increases by approximately three-sixteenths of an inch in total girth. -AE Consumer Care Dept.

Stitching broke on front of shoe. Can this be repaired by Allen Edmonds?

Other than the stitching problem, the shoe is holding up well.

The 9.5E was too tight, but you don't make 9.5EE. I ordered 9.5EEE but too big. Should I have ordered 10E? Can I exchange if I have worn?

    Asked by: Dan H
You probably need a 10E , it will be wider and only about 1/6 of an inch longer.
