    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Classic Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Maritime Boat Shoe is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 63.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have looked at these in the green color for quite some time and when they went on clearance I could not resist them. These are true boat shoes with a white sole. I love the color and have been happy with them with the exception of getting a big scratch on the top of them after about a week of wearing them (most likely my fault). There are comfortable but do not expect the comfort level to reach that of a AE wing-tip. Very happy with them overall and would recommend them in the green color. I get lots of compliments on them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit for purpose... In a competitive market - hard to distinguish this shoe from other marine shoes - but for superb marketing strategy of AE

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy Well made and fit perfectly. The green really "pops" too, so should look snazzy at the next regatta, lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice change from the usual color shoes in my closet. Usual AE quality and perfect fit. Love the fact that they are comfortable being worn all day with or without socks.

Why is this not manufactured in the USA? This is an american brand, so why not in USA?

    Asked by: Omega
Shoes which are not traditionally manufactured (i.e. wooden heels, leather soles, lasts, goodyear welt, etc.) are not made in Port Washington, WI by Allen Edmonds.

How is the fit of these compared to a traditional AE dress shoe?

I am a 9D/E in traditional AE dress shoes and don't have anywhere near me that carries AE Boat Shoes/Slip-Ons to try something on for fit - would I be able to order my normal AE sizing and expect a similar/proper fit?

Can this shoe be recreated like the traditional AE shoes?

Can this shoe be recreated like the traditional AE shoes? I'd prefer to purchase shoes that have longevity and quality that AE is known for with regards to recrafting
    Asked by: Munna
Your local cobbler can but the sole itself costs around $75 so it doesn't make too much sense with this type of shoe. AE will not because they would have to charge more than the shoe.

Are the colors in the website accurate? How orange is orange, the picture looks more tan, which is what I want

    Asked by: Al
I have the orange, and yes, they are pretty tan in color. Not a bright orange like the green and red appear to be bright green and red. Still a great shoe, love the color on the whole.

does this show have a heel cup?

I have had trouble with boat shoes in the past- I have a problem with supination, so I need a shoe that has some built in structure and support. These look great, but I would definitely need them to have a heel cup/reinforcement for support. Thank you.
    Asked by: JimD
