STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with cream polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Next condition the shoes with speed polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take the heel dressing applicator and press against the edge of the heels and soles.

STEP 5: Apply leather lotion as needed for added protection and polish between cleanings.

*For camo printed material, simply rub leather lotion onto print with a white cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp white cloth.

Long Branch Wingtip Boots is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 364.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome boot. These wonderful boots arrived today and they fit great right out of the box. The smokey grey leather has a very nice soft feel to it and that is evident in the comfortable fit and the flex when walking. No break in required. The support is superb and the Vibram lug sole will be useful in the snow. That is the toughness that one expects from a boot. As a waiter and a motorcycle rider I know shoes and boots. Theses are the real deal: top grade material, meticulous craftsmanship and great value at clearance pricing. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fix the lace hooks These boots are comfortable and do a good job in the snow & ice, but the top lace hook consistently caught on the inside hem of my dress pants and pulled the stitching out of one pair. They're easy to bend though, and doing so, to capture the laces in that top hook, solved the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy fall/winter casual. Northern Minnesota winters can be harsh, so I need to dress accordingly. That doesn't mean I don't want to look good. I love jeans and tweed in the cooler months and was looking for suitable footwear when I saw these. Tall enough to keep the snow out, Vibram lug soles for excellent traction, and that wonderful, classy broguing to set them off. The golden brown CXL leather was an added bonus! These can be dressed up or down, depending on the mood. I bought these large enough to wear with thick wool socks, and as such, they are incredibly warm and comfortable. After wearing them for a full season, I can honestly say the quality of these boots is top notch. The CXL leather is taking on a patina that will get more prominent over the years, giving these boots a wonderful character that just improves with age. I have no reason to think that with proper care, plus AE's recrafting service, why these shouldn't last for many, many years. Thanks for making what I consider to be the perfect winter dressy casual boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hightops with flair Quite frankly, I liked them so much that I ordered another pair in a different shade. That should explain everything!

    Leather options

Are the Long Branch leather options and leather colors being expanded. Would love to see the grey reintroduced. Original Vibram sole with yellow Vibram lable in front of heel was a better sole. The original sole wore better. The new sole is softer but wears out quickly.

Could this boots handle being worn as a motorcycle cycle boot? Will the soles and uppers handle the shifter?

I love Allen Edmond products. I have several pairs of their shoes. Will this boot handle Winter and snow? Could they be worn on a motrocycle? Could they handle getting beaten up a little?
    Asked by: Lencho
The answer is “no” to all of your questions. The leather is soft and flexible. The boot provides no support to your ankles. It’s nothing more that a fashion boot. I have only worn mine a handful of times to the office and one seam is already coming unstitched....

Size difference in different color leathers.

I recently fell in love with the Longbranch. I wear a 9.5D in brown they were extremely tight fitting when I first began wearing them to work 3 days ago. They fit great now. I just received the 9.5D in the Golden Brown this evening and they already feel looser than the Brown maybe a quarter to half size looser despite the sole appearing to be identical sized. Should I consider sizing down in the Golden Brown or try another pair in the same size? Is this simple a sizing irregularity or intentional due to different materials used? Will the Golden Brown not stretch as much as the softer Brown leather?
    Asked by: Nathan
Spoke to my local Allen Edmonds and the best answer I've come up with is that Yes the Golden Brown Long Branch boot seems to run a little larger than the Brown model.

    Golden Brown - Matching belt?

Do you have any belts available currently to match the golden brown color? Thanks.
    Asked by: natenset
I wear my Walnut Manistee belt that I got for my Walnut Mcallisters with it and think it looks great. The Walnut is a little lighter, but very close.

    Size not currently available?

I'm trying to select my first pair of Allen Edmonds and noticed that the size and color combination I would like is unavailable currently. Is there an option to place an order for when the stock is replenished, or is this style no longer going to be produced?

    how to adjust sizing

My best fitting pair of AEs is the Strand in 6.5 EE. The Long Branch doesn't come in EE, and they are out of 6.5 in golden brown in general. Would it be recommended to go up to a 7E or 7EEE? I have the Neumok boots in 7E and they were a little narrow.
    Asked by: Anonymous
I would personally go down to a 6 EE if they have that size available. I wear a 9-1/2 D in Mcallister which is on the same 65 last as the Strand, and went down to a 9D on the Longbranch since you want your boots to fit tight. After spraying a little shoe stretch and breaking in they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn !

    Which polish for this?

I notice that Alan Edmonds doesn't seem to sell any polish matching 6043 Golden Brown, which is the color I'd get in this boot. Am I wrong and is there an Allen Edmonds polish in this color, or barring that is there an Allen Edmonds suggested polish?
    Asked by: Anonymous
The 6043 Golden Brown are made out of Chromexcel leather so I would avoid using polish on it. Allen Edmonds Premium Leather Conditioner is what I purchased from my local AE store to take care of my 6043s.

What size if I usually wear strand 10.5 EEE?

I usually wear stand cap toe 10.5 EEE and they fit perfectly. What size of long branch should I wear? I am aware of the differences about the last numbers but it doesn't really inform me about the proper size I need. Thank you
