STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather saddle soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with cream polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Next condition the shoes with speed polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take the heel dressing applicator and press against the edge of the heels and soles.

STEP 5: Apply leather lotion as needed for added protection and polish between cleanings.

*For camo printed material, simply rub leather lotion onto print with a white cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp white cloth.

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Dalton Wingtip Dress Boots is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 341.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced and a lack of quality Shoes were immediately blemished. wore them for about an hour and they already have gouges and wear marks. The leather quality is not there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but Narrow in Forefoot The cordovan Daltons are gorgeous. However, they're very narrow in in the ball of the foot while being average or slightly loose in the heel. I normally wear a 10D in the 65 last and a 9.5D in most non- AE dress shoes. In the Daltons (511 last), I'm probably a 9EE. But I bought them in 9E and had to stretch the forefoot while adding adhesive pads around the heel and ankle. There's still plenty of room in the toe lengthwise; in fact, the Daltons in 9 are exactly the length of my Psrk Avenues in 9.5! So these really aren't ideal for someone with narrow heels and a wide forefoot/high arch. The other thing is that with no speed hooks, they take forever to take off. But they do look great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful boots My oxblood Dalton boots are the most beautiful looking shoes I own. They were expensive but worth every penny. My only complaint is I wish I would have gone with a wider size because these were a bit narrow. They became comfortable after a few months of wear once the leather had time to stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Dalton's.! This boot is simply fantastic.! I had already owned several other pairs of AE shoes before discovering this boot. I was looking for a boot I could wear with suits and a semi-formal look, and also be versatile enough to wear with jeans or slacks. I had no idea I would find this in an AE boot, but this boot does this and adds a touch of style and elegance as well. It is ALWAYS noticed and lots up folks don't notice it is a boot at first. It is so comfortable to wear, that it feels better than some shoes I own. The last gives plenty of room in the foot bed, and I prefer to admire the last rather than say it runs large. I think I may need at least one more pair on a second color to add to the wardrobe. Excellent shoe in every way possible.

What size Dalton Wingtip Dress Boot would likely be a good fit for me given that I currently wear a size 10.5 D Bartlett

Can you suggest any other boots that might be a better fit if the Dalton boots are not.
    Asked by: RKU
Thank you for your inquiry. Because each style can fit differently based on the contours of your feet, it’s difficult to recommend a size via this channel and guarantee a proper fit. Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. If possible, we’d love to have you visit an Allen Edmonds retail store or one of our retail partners for a professional fitting. Our associates are trained to help you find the right fit for the various lasts and styles we offer. Also, keep in mind that products purchased on AllenEdmonds.com may be returned within 90 days, as long as the item is unworn and accompanied by the packing slip (we advise trying the shoes on a carpeted surface to keep them in returnable condition). Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

Will oxblood belt go with burgundy cordovan?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Oxblood is lighter than Burgundy Cordovan and will not coordinate well. We recommend pairing the boots with the Cordovan Tab Belt in Burgundy. Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

    How are they, comfort-wise?

Without naming competitor names, I've found other shell cordovan wingtip boots to feel like lead weights with no cushioning at all. I've always been impressed with AE comfort. How would you rate these?
    Asked by: Ogre202
Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate your interest in our shoes. Our shoes use a cork inlay, this ensures that the shoes will perfectly form to your feet to provide the most comfort possible.

Cordovan in walnut or tan color?

Do you offer these boots in a lighter color like walnut or tan? I think the cordovan shoes should be offered in this color. These boots and cordovan leather is perfect but the color is off. You will not find many professionals under 40 who will wear dark shoes anymore. Most Wear walnut or tan. I only wear dark shoes for very conservative business functions, formals, or funerals.

    Size

How does a 9d size in McNeil 2.0 compare to the Dalton boot?
    Asked by: Joseph
The Macneil 2.0 is constructed on the 97 Last, which is the best fit for the average foot. The 97 last is one of Allen Edmonds early lasts, and has a soft, slightly pointed toe. It lays flatter in the toe area for a classic American look. The Dalton is constructed on the 511 Last, and this last is similar to the 97 last from heel to the ball of the foot, yet with a more rounded, fuller fitting toe. The 511 last is used in many of our boots because of the added room in the toe box. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
