Rated 5 out of 5 by from subdued re: shoe leather color ......shoe coloration best described as muted. It is very good, very rich, albeit different from the common color associated with the label, Awesome shoe. Wonderful fit. Solid construct. Proportions perfect. Really nice...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit does not match size The slip-on does not match the labeled size. In my case a 9 fit more like an 8.5 and the D width seemed to have more in common with a C. I was not convinced that a 9.5 would be a better ratio of length to width and determined another American maker's version of a grained slip-on was a better fit for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favourites I love these shoes. In fact I'm wearing them as I write this review. The grain of the leather is beautiful and the overall shape of the shoe is elegant without being so over the top that I'd be afraid to wear them regularly. The only "improvement" I'd like to see is this leather crafted as a full strap penny loafer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leather stains permanently when it gets wet I own these shoes in medium brown and black. The medium brown got wet in the rain and the stains are still there. If you buy this shoe, don’t wear in the rain.

    Issues with water spots?

I’m interested in this product but have read several reviews having issues with water spots. Is this shoe more prone to water damage than others and if so, what can I do to remedy this?
    Asked by: Brian
No this shoe is not prone to water damage. Howeve,r we don't recommend wearing these shoes in wet or damp environments as this can caused water damage. This is the case with premium leather products.

We recommend using Leather Lotion when caring for this style. You may use Oxblood or Black Premium Shoe Polish for the Oxblood or Black loafers respectively, or Neutral Polish for the Blue leather if you wish to add some shine. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

What is the last of this shoe?

    Asked by: Anonymous
The Italian Collection is not constructed on our traditional lasts. This style has the sleek profile of Italian shoe but with the comfort that comes from the more generous American style toe box. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Are these shoes lightweight? I am trying to find a shoe for my husband that isn't so heavy.

    Asked by: X
Our Italian Collection shoes, like the Perugia, tend to be slightly lighter due to the Bologna construction method used to make them; they do not feature the cork footbed that we build into our traditional welted footwear. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Are these shoes able to be recrafted?

Since these shoes are "Bologna cemented construction" does that mean they can recrafted and if so, is a new sole cemented on?
    Asked by: Will
The Perugia loafer is not eligible for our Recrafting services. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
