Delray Dress Shoe is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 261.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Delray is a beautifully crafted shoe Allan Edmonds consistently produces beautifully crafted shoes and the Delray provides the perfect blend of craftsmanship and style. This company has managed to maintain its high quality standards throughout the decades and remains one of the truly great shoe manufactures in this country...where once there were dozens. I was a little disappointed that Allan Edmonds no longer provides complimentary shoe bags with each purchase, as some other manufacturers still do. James

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Distinguish Dress I've been searching for the perfect split toe dress shoe, and this one has exceeded my expectations. Great Product!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking shoe. As soon as I unboxed my black Delrays I realized that the website pictures did not completely do them justice. They brought to mind images of a Gibson Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty" guitar. Okay, so I love how they look (that split toe stitching). How do they fit? As a bit of perspective my AE Strandmoks, built on the 65 last fit my foot like a glove. The Delray is my first AE shoe using the 108 last. The tapered forepart gives me a bit of extra room at the front beyond my toes. No problem with that. They do run true to width, but if I have to nitpick about anything, the topline of the quarter could perhaps be a little snugger, for my foot anyway. Overall, this is a very attractive and comfortable shoe that I'm proud to wear.

    Full leather sole in winter

I've recently purchased the Delray with the fill leather sole, but am concerned about how well it will hold up in the winter. Would you recommend adding a rubber sole? Does Allen Edmonds offer that?
    Asked by: Michael
Yes they do. I ordered the Delray with the dianite rubber sole. Very nice shoe and good traction on slippery surfaces.

Why are my new shoes so squeaky?

Just bought a new pair of Delrays. however they are very squeaky. Why and what can be done?
    Asked by: Anonymous
Lol, I had the exact same problem. The squeek will eventually diminish but if you don't want to wait, you can use baby powder on the part of the tongue that's covered by the leather (where the shoelaces are). This has worked for me. I have also read that you can try shoe polish in this area as well.

What other shoes do you make using the same last as the Delray?

    Asked by: Anonymous
I have the LaSalle's that are made on the same last. They're awesome!! Look great and feel great! Your best bet for finding more shoes on this last though is to reference the last guide. You can find it here: http://www.allenedmonds.com/shoes-101/lasts.html

What is the difference between the Delray and the Walton?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Both the Delray and the Walton are split-toe bluchers, but that's where their similarities end. They are made made on very different lasts. Also, the Delray has a single oak leather sole with a regular welt, whereas the Walton has a double oak leather sole with a split reverse welt (also called a "storm welt"). The result is that the Walton is a sturdy, "chunky" looking shoe, while the Delray is a long and elegant looking shoe. I own both styles and I like them both.
