    Relaxed Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Greene Street Wingtip Blucher is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my shoe collection Very comfortable shoe which runs true to size. This is the first AE I have owned that is the combination rubber and leather sole. I was a bit skeptical at first but they do provide a bit of traction on slightly wet floors. It took about two wearings to break them in but after that, the cork forms and they are very comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Long wait for a bitter pill In July I bought these shoes in Chicago while travelling. I have waited 12 years to finally buy a pair of AEs and now I had them. Unfortunately they have stayed uncomfortable, stiff on my foot but I hope they will soften. The 4 front edges of the lacing area are unraveling and rolling up like a sleeve. Please imagine this specifically to these edges (not the whole shoe)...it is the same work of a craftsman who makes shoes sold at Ross..looks great then a closer look reveals a novice. The serrated strip all around the edge tucks in to the back cover and leaves a large lump, not like the picture, flat and clean. But here is what I noticed within a few days of buying them. There is a nasty crease that is all wrinkled on the top of the upper on the right shoe but that is smooth on the left. So looking at AE on Wikipedia I have read the worst news that these so called 'made in US' shoes have the hand sewn uppers made in the Dominican Republic. I am dumbfounded. -Machinist, Mechanical Engineer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well built I have always worn J&M’s. These are my first AE’s. They seem great so far! The quality feels like it is there! The leather is flawless and the craftsmanship is amazing! I hope they last and I hope I rebuild them in 5 to 10 years.

What is the difference between the 2660 Black Calfskin Leather, and the 8824 Black? Is it different types of leather?

    Asked by: Anonymous

    What is sole material?

I have long, narrow feet (11.5 B for AE shoes) and can't wear hard soles for much more than 1 hour. Therefore, soft soles - Vibram, etc. - are mandatory.
    Asked by: AKFisher
These are softer than the single oaks and double oaks because of the insert and they have some padding in them the others don't. You might want to give them a try. they will not be as soft as the Vibrams but they look a lot better..
