STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

Jefferson 2.0 Wingtip Oxford is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed in AE Sadly, the quality of AE has declined to the point where they are no longer an option for me. This has been the case with multiple pairs recently and this shoe was no different. Both shoes obviously more than gently tried on with significant creasing. Sole shape on each shoe markedly different. These were not factory seconds and will be sent back. AE is the next Cole Haan, if they are not already. This is the last pair of AE I will purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some QC issues that I was not expecting Just received my pair from an online order, and from a distance they are beautiful shoes. However on close examination, there are several issues that make me question the attention to detail. Granted, the leather is nice and soft, however there are several areas with uneven dye/polish, issues with stitching uniformity, and sole dying that really lack of attention to detail. One shoe also has loose threads on the top, and just what I'd call "blemeshes" overall. This is especially alarming seeing this is part of the prestigious "Independence Collection", which I would have hoped would be flawless. Overall the shoes feel amatuerish, and may be the last shoe I order from Allen Edmonds, even on sale. Sad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too Bad It Appears They Are Dropping the Independence Collection Although I have at least a dozen pairs of AE shoes, the Jefferson is only my second pair of AE shoes from the Independence Collection. I have the Bartlett as well. Wow, these are nice shoes. Maybe not $550 nice, but I got both my pairs on sale for over 50% off. The leather is much softer than other AE lines and the lining is super soft and comfortable. They are also very good looking. This last seems to be great for my foot, which is wide in the front and narrow in the back. 12 D on these is a little bit snug, but not in a bad way. I have McNeil and Macallister models and I need a 12.5 D in those. And in Park Avenue, I needed to go to a 13, to get them to not pinch across the toes. I have black in these and there doesn't seem to be a problem with the color, but on my walnut Bartletts, the color seems a bit irregular. One thing I probably won't be able to comment on is how they wear. With about 50 pairs of dress shoes, I don't get a chance to wear any one pair very often--especially right now in the middle of a pandemic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 pairs, both with defects. Factory firsts. Ordered 2 pairs of walnut Jeffersons and both had black smudges all over them. I wish I could attach a picture to show you. Don't bother with these shoes or this brand. It's a shame that they have ran a classic american brand into the ground. Shame.

    Jefferson laces?

I have these in dark brown and they have thicker laces than most of the dress shoes. I’m looking for replacement laces and am wondering which laces they are?
    Asked by: Jrob
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. The laces for these shoes are basic glazed laces. You will need 33 in laces. -AE Consumer Care Dept.

What is the prmary differences with the Macallister line?

I was looking at the shoes and noticed these cost alot more. Why?
    Asked by: Benjamin
The Jefferson 2.0 style is part of our Independence collection which is a premium collection made with softer leathers and lambskin lining, it also features a two-tone outsole and dove-tail heel. This style is also constructed on the 201 lasts and so the fit and feel may be slightly different than the 65 last used for the McAllister.
