STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good quality I originally ordered 11.5 3E width. The width was fine but too long. I reordered in a size 11 and that worked but the width was a little more narrow that the 11.5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my shoe wardrobe The color of this show was one I was needing. The price I was able to get them for on sale made the purchase more palatable. I have 2 other pairs of AE shoes and was pleased overall with the quality of those enough to look to AE first when needing a new color. The shoe fits well and the dainite sole has given me sure footing thus far in comparison to the leather soles on my other AE's. A plus for me was that this shoe model is made in the USA. In looking at reviews for other AE shoes, there seems to be a significantly higher number of concerns and complaints with non-USA made models. My guess is that QA suffers in AE's international supply chain system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice shoe model Ended up buying it in brown and black. Comfortable out of the box and the Dainite makes the sole more functional in weather, while maintaining a more finished look. Tempted to go back for the tan.

If you choose the Dainite sole, what happens when the heel &/or sole wear down & need replacing? Leather is quick & easy with my cobbler.

    Asked by: Don
I had a pair of Tates with soft sole recrafted by Allen Edmonds and they went to the Dainite sole. It was no problem for them and they look like they were made that way from the beginning. So I don’t think that working with the sole would be an issue.. If you prefer to have your own cobbler do the re-sole in the future, it looks to me like it would be straight forward. The stitching on both the welt and sole are easy to get at.

Why are the width options so limited? This is very un AE like.

    Asked by: PAUL
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry! The Mackenna Plain toe was offered in B, D, E and EEE widths. Unfortunately, we are sold out of the B widths. -AE Consumer Care Dept.
