    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Park Avenue with Combination Tap Sole is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 1214.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective return replaced with exact same shoe Long time AE customer but no more. I received my original pairof Park Ave's in Dark Chili and returned due to poor quality. Poor quality was noted on the RMA. Today, two months later I receive my replacement and it's the exact same pair that I returned. Literally, not figuratively! I am positive because the original pair had unique stains on them as well as a rough patch of leather in the exact same spot. Unacceptable. I will return these and switch to another brand. I've noticed a downward trend in quality over my last few pairs. My last pair of black Park Ave's had similar quality issues but I sucked it up. No more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Purchase I purchased two pairs of Park Avenue Cap-Toe Oxford in black and coffee. After lacing up the shoes and wearing them around the house I knew I made a good purchase. I wear an 8.5 D. The length of both pairs is spot on. The width is slightly narrow. I wore the same thin socks during my check-out that I wear to work. Not sure the shoes will fit well if I wear thicker socks. Craftsmanship was what I expected - very good. Shoes were well packaged and the shipping box arrived in good condition. Delivery was prompt and communication from Allen Edmond was good. Time will tell if I should have ordered an 8.5 E. I think the leather will stretch a bit over time. I hope Allen Edmonds will also offer this shoe in dark brown and mahogany. If it did I would have bought four pairs. I will recommend this shoe and brand to friends.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Causes extreme pain in heel After being fitted at two stores to confirm the sizing result, I took the plunge on these a little over 2 years ago. I returned to the store saying they felt tight but they assured me this was the right size and I needed to wear them in a bit. Unfortunately, this never happened. I've tried over and over to wear these, but I'm always in extreme pain by the end of the day, which is so severe it lasts through the next day (wearing other shoes.) They look nice but are ultimately a complete waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply elegant I got this in oxblood and I could not be happier. This is my 6th pair of AE and finally I found the best fit. Shoes supple and need very little break in out of the box. Dressy if need be but not formal. Red hue is not noticeable at all and looks more like a dark oak. Polished it with saphir mahogany #9 to bring out a little bit more of the red hue. The result is excellent. With regards to craftsmanship, few minor imperfections which I can live with. i guess it is attributed to being handcrafted in contrast to machine made.

I have a pair of 40 year old Park Ave. size 11B. Will new ones in 11B be the same size and dimensions or have they changed?

    Asked by: JERRY55
The fit will most likely feel different as 40 years of wear will have changed the shape of the leather overtime to conform to the contours of your own feet. Keep in mind also, the shape of our feet change over the years as well. It is vitally important to be refitted professionally at an Allen Edmonds retail store periodically. To find an Allen Edmonds store near you, please follow this link: https://www.allenedmonds.com/stores If that is not possible, keep in mind we offer an easy returns policy if your typical size doesn't work out for you. You can learn about it here: https://www.allenedmonds.com/customer-service/shipping-returns.html Thank you for reaching out to us!

What is the difference between the bond Street cap toe Oxford and the park avenue ?

    Asked by: Anonymous
The Bond street is slightly longer, slightly wider in the toe box compared to the Park Ave. The insole on the Bond street is a poron foam and cork pad, goodyear welted to a combination outsole. The Park Ave is more traditional with cork bladed into the insole as a heated puree, and then goodyear welted to an all leather (or Dainite) outsole. The Bond Street is speed-welted (lighter overall weight) and the Park Ave is bench-welted, which is the term for a heritage style construction for which AE is well-known!
