Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent shine and suitable with all available colors Better quality wax and shoe creams than from any previously tried manufacturers. Perfect complement to all A E shoes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product! I've spent my share of time polishing my shoes over the years - from general care to spit shine. The right polish makes a tremendous difference. The AE shoe care products are the highest quality I've seen. I had the unfortunate event to severely scuff a shoe at work when I had no choice but to help move materials. The wheel of a cart rubbed against my shoe, rubbing the polish and finish right out of the leather. AE's shoe cream & polish and 20 minutes later - you can't tell the difference. Great products - maintain your shoes and they'll last forever!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dried Up I ordered three shoe polishes in burgundy, black, and neutral. Each of the three shoe polishes were dried up and completely separated from the sides of the tin container. I was in desperate need for the burgundy shoe polish, so I tried it out and it still worked, but it was very dry and I expected better quality from Allen Edmonds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get some for your shine box! I use the neutral polish after a specific color cream or polish application. The carnauba gives a great shine. I'll "spit shine" a couple coats on a cap-toe and it really makes the shoes pop. This is a must-have for any shine box.

Shoe Care

Is there anything wrong with doing the following: clean the shoe using saddle soap, let dry; use stain remover, let dry; use leather lotion, let dry; use walnut shoe polish, let dry and buff; finish with neutral carnuba wax and buff?
Asked by: Alex
Not at all. I got flooded one day and I had to save my walnut Fifth Avenues. I did just that and they look great.

What color polish to get a brighter shine on Grey Exchange Place?

Looking to get a bright shine on my grey exchange places for a formal wedding. What color would be best? Alternatively, would the spray shine be an acceptable alternative? What's the best application procedure.
Asked by: GloryUprising
Thank you for your question. Neutral Polish would be recommended. This will enhance the shine on your shoes. Also, the Spray Shine can give your shoes a temporary shine enhancement as well. Just spray that on your shoes and buff with a horsehair shine brush.

What is the best way to get a mirror shine?

I have a pair for Fifth Avenues and I would like to have a mirror shine. What is the best product to achieve this?
Asked by: 5th Ave
Achieving a mirror shine requires time, patience, and practice as it takes several layers of wax depending on your desired results. Keep in mind, each individual's techniques may vary but the basic principles remain the same: - Clean the shoes using a dry horsehair brush to remove dirt or debris. - Apply leather lotion to condition the leather and let dry completely. If needed, apply Premium Shoe Polish or Shoe Cream. Let dry (20-30min). - Using a soft cloth wrapped around your index and middle fingers, apply a thin layer of Carnauba Wax Polish in circular motions, working the wax into the leather. Repeat 1-3x. - Once you have a base of wax. Dip your ring or little finger in water and add one small droplet of water at a time on the leather. Immediately disperse the water by applying another thin layer of wax in circular motions in the same area.  - Continue to build up the thin layers of wax with small drops of water in between until you achieve your desired results. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Neutral for all colors?

Want to know can I use neutral for all colors of calf skin? Do I need to get brown wax for Country grain brown Leeds 2.0? Thanks!
Asked by: Soe
The neutral will work for all colors, and has the advantage of NOT imparting a color to contrast stitching. If you reach a point where you feel that the color needs a little more oomph, as a result of normal wear and tear, then you might consider a color polish but avoid getting it on any contrast stinching
