Daytona Driving Shoe is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 89.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Drivers I bought these shoes in-store and was informed that they only come in a D width, which is not true and messes up sizing. Within 3 days of just wearing them to work, the toes were wearing away. After roughly 3 1/2 months, there is a giant hole in the toe of one of my shoes and the rest are just following apart. I have had drivers from other companies that have been significantly cheaper and have held up way better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How many narrow driving mocs are there? I have a narrow foot. There are relatively few choices of driving mocs in a mens narrow. I have purchased these in both the blue and the tan. Maybe, because I am from the SE, going without socks in loafers is something that is not considered odd. It is the Charleston look and at times men in the south wear their oxfords with no socks and bowties around their necks. I thought these shoes fit fine and would never, even in the winter, think of wearing them with socks. Orthotics?? Really??? They are on the fragile side, not an Allen Edmonds problem but consistent with the style of the shoe. If you can't go sockless and if you need orthotics, these are not your shoes and you should keep looking. I hope they have them next season because I will probably restock.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lesser quality Very uncomfortable. Construction near the toes makes for an uneven fit. Even after a breaking in period, they feel very flimsy and without any support. I was hoping these might replace my El Paso loafers from a few years back, which are going strong. But alas, these are not worth a purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't Fit with Orthotics Actually liked the shoes but, even in E width, they were just too tight a fit across the arch when I inserted my custom orthotics. Return was quick and efficient. For someone who doesn't need orthotics, these are nice shoes.

The Daytona Driving Shoe in Black has been available in limited sizes for quite sometime. The other colors are available in all sizes. Will the Black.

    Asked by: Michael
The black Daytona style is not longer in production as it has been discontinued. We recommend taking a look at the Siesta Key as it's a similar style offered in black (linked below). Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

Is the Daytona Driving Shoe available in Brown leather? If not, can it be custom ordered?

    Asked by: Pete
The Daytona style is limited to the colors offered online and cannot be custom ordered. We recommend taking a look at the Siesta Key or the Boulder driving shoes which are both currently offered in brown. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

    Lexington

Hi, I have a pair of Lexington size 9B. They feel a little bit long and narrow. I would like to know if the size 8,5 D would be better for me. Thanks.
    Asked by: Agepi7o
The 8.5 D would probably fit better. Remember the fit depends in part on the maker.

How does the fit compare to the Leeds 2.0 Derby?

If I wear a 11B in the Leeds, would I be a 11B in the Daytona?
    Asked by: Anonymous
The Leeds 2.0 is constructed on the 511 last which is similar to the 97 last from heel to the ball of the foot, yet with a more rounded, fuller fitting toe. The Daytona is constructed on the handsewn 555 last The 555 Last has a shorter forepart and round toe with a tighter instep providing a snug fit. It is difficult to recommend a size through this channel and guarantee a proper fit because each last will fit differently based on the contours of your feet. It is vitally important to visit an Allen Edmonds retail store or retail partner for a professional fitting to increase your chances of being fit correctly for each last and style. However, keep in mind that products purchased on allenedmonds.com may be returned at any time, as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip. Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoes in returnable condition.
