Daytona Driving Shoe is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 80.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Front toe box already falling apart Front toe box is already falling apart and the shoe is wearing poorly. I am unsure if the problem is the shoe design itself or if it is just an unlucky pair. This is my 5th pair of Allen Edmonds and these do run a little small so order a half size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's like walking on air These shoes are a great fit. I have a 10 eee foot and it is hard for me to find a well made shoe that is comfortable. This slip-on really slips on and is so comfortable that I hardly notice that I am wearing shoes. Wonderful fitm good looking and oh, so comfortable. Thanks, Allen Edmonds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful blue leather shoe others were spot on. The length and the width run small. However, I ordered a half size bigger and a full width bigger and they fit like a glove. Very handsome shoes!

The Daytona Driving Shoe in Black has been available in limited sizes for quite sometime. The other colors are available in all sizes. Will the Black.

    Asked by: Michael
The black Daytona style is not longer in production as it has been discontinued. We recommend taking a look at the Siesta Key as it's a similar style offered in black (linked below). Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

    Replace sole?

I bought these shoes a year or two ago and love them... BUT the heels is destroyed (rubber that popped out of leather and stitching is ripped) from driving. Any way to replace the sole?

Is the Daytona Driving Shoe available in Brown leather? If not, can it be custom ordered?

    Asked by: Pete
The Daytona style is limited to the colors offered online and cannot be custom ordered. We recommend taking a look at the Siesta Key or the Boulder driving shoes which are both currently offered in brown. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

    Lexington

Hi, I have a pair of Lexington size 9B. They feel a little bit long and narrow. I would like to know if the size 8,5 D would be better for me. Thanks.
    Asked by: Agepi7o
The 8.5 D would probably fit better. Remember the fit depends in part on the maker.

How does the fit compare to the Leeds 2.0 Derby?

If I wear a 11B in the Leeds, would I be a 11B in the Daytona?
    Asked by: Anonymous
The Leeds 2.0 is constructed on the 511 last which is similar to the 97 last from heel to the ball of the foot, yet with a more rounded, fuller fitting toe. The Daytona is constructed on the handsewn 555 last The 555 Last has a shorter forepart and round toe with a tighter instep providing a snug fit. It is difficult to recommend a size through this channel and guarantee a proper fit because each last will fit differently based on the contours of your feet. It is vitally important to visit an Allen Edmonds retail store or retail partner for a professional fitting to increase your chances of being fit correctly for each last and style. However, keep in mind that products purchased on allenedmonds.com may be returned at any time, as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip. Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoes in returnable condition.

I have the cameron penny loafer and the size is 11.5 A. I have a narrow foot. My question is what size would I take in the daytona driving shoes?

    Asked by: Phil
I have always found that my standard size translates to all the different A-E shoes I've purchased.

    Fit vs the Duke Loafer

The Duke Loafer in 13 EEE was too wide for me even thought I wear the same size in the Strands I own. Is this a shoe I should order in 13 E or EEE?
    Asked by: Graftmw
I would order a 3E. I am a 3E and ordered as such; however, I needed to go one half size up, which I've never done before.

Would it be possible to compare the fit to...

For casual styles like this one, (among my 38 pairs of AEs) I currently own the Kirkwood and Grand Cayman. I tried the Ventura Highway and it also worked but just not as good as the Grand Cayman. These sort of look like the Ventura Highway but are on the 555 last. Would you be able to compare the fit of these to the others I have mentioned? My main concern is whether or not they run shorter in length that the others.
    Asked by: Anonymous
The Daytona and the Kirkwood are constructed on the same 555 Last, so the fit of these two styles will be similar in both length and width. We suggest ordering the size of the Daytona based on how the Kirkwood fits you. Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
