Boulevard Cap Toe Dress Shoe is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 77.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could not find a good fit. I have several AE shoes on the 65 Last, as this one is. However, my normal size on that Last (9.5E) was a bit narrow and was overly long. I called and spoke to customer service, who assured me that it could not possibly be a quality issue with a particular pair of shoes. I then tried a 9EEE, but as expected that did not work at all. I can't put my finger on why these fit so differently, but I wonder if it relates to the fact that they are Bluchers (whereas all of my other 65's are Balmorals). Other than fit, however, quality seemed up to par with previous AE purchases (though I am not a fan of the new packaging).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good customer service Love Allen Edmonds shoes for my narrow feet. Purchased a pair for my step son for Christmas. After having to send them back for a wider shoe, he is now a fan, too. Like it's an American company that builds a quality product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shoe fits much larger than other shoes built on same last I purchased this shoe because I was looking for another shoe to add to my collection, also wanted a shoe I could wear when it is raining/snowing. The price was right for this shoe and I added the Dainite sole (which I really like). I already own the Fifth Avenue (BIG fan of the shoe) and customer service said the Boulevard would fit similar since it is built on the same last. So I ordered the same size as my Fifth Avenue. I was excited to wear the shoe when it arrived. Unfortunately, the shoe does not fit my foot as well as my Fifth Avenues. The shoe feels big - both in length and width - even when I tighten the laces as much as possible. It definitely feels longer and just slightly wider than my other pair of shoes. I'm guessing I could easily go a 1/2 size smaller. The shoe quality is very good. I'd give it 5-stars if it fit well, however it does not. That is why it gets 2-stars. At this point, I'm not sure how much I'll wear them as I'm concerned of getting blisters with my foot sliding in them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe - runs large compared to Park Aves The shoe quality is on par with my other AEs but runs large when compared to my Park Aves, which are the same size and a very similarly styled shoe. The size difference is most noticeable in terms of length (much more space between toe and end of shoe) but also in terms of width (it seems that I slide around more inside this shoe than I do the Park Aves). This has led to extra creasing where my toe is short of the end of the shoe, which is slightly disappointing but mostly negligible as the shoe looks great still. If you have purchased other AEs, I would potentially consider sizing down for these ones as to avoid my problem! Would still recommend.

    Shinnng these shoes

When I shine these shoes, they do not seem to take on much of a shine and remain dull. What can I do?
    Asked by: Dmca
We recommend cleaning the dust or dirt off the upper, and if you use a damp rag let it dry before applying polish. Apply an even coat of Speed Polish or Carnauba Wax Polish with a soft cloth to the entire upper, then brush vigorously with the Horse Hair Shine Brush. You can focus on the toes an heels for an extra shine. Repeat until you achieve your desired results. Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

    Sizing question

If I wear a 10.0EEE in the Strand and Park Avenue (understanding they are more long and narrow than average), what size would I wear in the Boulevard? Most of the time with other brand blucher-style dress shoes (like Johnston Murphy, etc.) I wear 10.5 regular or wide. The Boulevard is a blucher style so I am guessing it fits a bit loser than the Strand or Park Avenue? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
    Asked by: SEAZ
Boulevard and Park Ave are built on the same last (form) - a welted 65. The size will be identical.

    Shoe Tree During Break-In

Should you use a shoe tree as you are breaking in the shoe during the first few weeks?
    Asked by: Matthew
The main purpose of cedar shoe trees is to maintain the shoe's shape. Due to the nature of the leather, leather shoes can curl upwards if shoe trees are not used. We recommend inserting shoe trees whenever the shoes are not in use. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

The Boulevard is the Blucher version of the Fifth Avenue Balmoral, and the Lexington was the Blucher version of the Park Avenue Balmoral. https://www.allenedmonds.com/discover/shoes-101/glossary.html Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
