McAllister Wingtip Oxfords is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 71.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Wingtip Shoe I love the wingtip style. I own several pairs of Wingtips in many styles and the McAllister Wingtip Oxford is my favorite. At this point I only wear AE wingtips. The AE shoe combines the Classic style with comfort I have only found in the AE product. There are infinite types and Styles of wingtips available. Stop wasting your $$ on inferior products. Once you wear an AE McAllister Wingtip you will never buy from anyone else. I enjoy the fact the no one in the boardroom, office, or business has a better looking shoe on than I do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odd fit I have this shoe in black and fit is great. With these, left was very narrow. Also had nicks and blemishes. AE quality is declining.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic look This shoe is just timeless. The style is commanding. After a short break in period the comfort is amazing. I personally love wingtip shoes and this shoe is classic in design. The craftsmanship is what I have come to expect from AE. I will never buy a wingtip style shoe from any other company. This shoe I would certainly buy again. Of course it will be a very long time before that ever happens because AE quality means long lasting!

What is the difference between Merlot and Merlot Burnished Calf?

    Asked by: Gage
Thank you for reaching out to us. A burnishing is the term for adding an Antiqued effect on leather shoes to create a variation in shades. This means that instead of a flat color, there will be more dimension in the shoe.

How much wider is a 13 EEE than a 12 EEE?

As I have gained weight, my feet seem to have expanded a bit, too. Possibly, the size is now close to a 4E.
    Asked by: Lee
The 13EEE and the 12EEE are the same width. You can expect a difference in length of 1/3" between full sizes. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Are the insoles in this shoe removable? to allow for an orthotic insert?

    Asked by: Anonymous
The McAllister was not designed with an orthotic fit in mind and so it does not feature a removable insole. We suggest taking a look at the LGA style which is a wingtip that features removable insoles. It is important to keep in mind that the use of an orthotic will alter the way a shoe fits; we recommend trying on your orthotics with the shoes or visiting one of our master fitters at our retail stores as they can recommend the best possible fit.
