    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

The relaxed fit has added space in the toe box. This extra room allows for thicker socks and foot expansion that occurs at the end of the day or during a long flight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried for first time - great product I'll purchase Allen Edmonds products again - great comfort, fit is as indicated and service was awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality I love the fact that these high quality and good looking shoes are made in the USA. Looks stylish and I wear almost everyday already big with my other Allen Edmonds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price, good shoe. I like the larger styles for their support. The leather is not as good (thick, soft) as the US sourced leather used to be for Allen Edmonds. This shoe is lighter weight compared to the full size, double leather sole Allen Edmonds shoe. Great casual shoe.

Thank you for answering my question as to whether it's full-grain leather but I was asking about the Nomad, not the Normandy. Please clarify. Thanks.

    Asked by: William
We apologize for the misunderstanding. Our Nomads are also made with full grain leather.

    8 1/2 E

I normally wear the AE shoes in a 8 1/2 E. This shoe comes in only a EEE width. Would this be too loose? Or, would I not notice a big difference? Thanks.
    Asked by: Anonymous
Normally E is too narrow for me. I bought the EEE and its perfect so it maybe too loose if you normally wear an E.

My other Allen Edmonds are all 9 1/2 D, should I order the Nomad in 9 1/2 D?

I have the Wilbert, the Gobi-which is the roomiest of my AEs, the Higgins Mill and the Cascade. Or would the Badlands fit better in 9 1/2 D?
    Asked by: CJ45
Allen Edmonds shoes are constructed on a wide variety of lasts (foot molds) and each will feature unique fit characteristics. It is vitally important to visit an Allen Edmonds retail store or retail partner for a professional fitting to increase your chances of finding a proper fit. If that's not possible, typically we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judge the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes.   Keep in mind that products purchased on may be returned as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip.  Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoes in returnable condition.
