    Size & Fit Guide

Our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36" we recommend ordering a 38" belt.

Manufactured with five distinct belt holes, placed 1 inch apart from one another

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great belt Quality belt, got the walnut to match a pair of walnut AE boots I have, match nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-purpose belt Excellent craftsmanship and width. Would buy more if belts were available with both chrome & brass hardware - and if they were priced consistently at the sale prices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nicer belt than it appears This is a nicely made belt...good thickness, nice buckle, and beautiful suede backing, but unfortunately the business side of the belt looks a lot like vinyl. If you didn't know this is a quality AE leather belt you might think it's a $19 belt from a discount store. I know it's high quality, so I'm satisfied with it, but those worried more about appearances might want to consider other options. (Giving it high marks for value because of the discounted price I paid; otherwise, I would have scored it lower.)

If my pants are size 37.5 what should be my belt size?

I want my bent to be flexible to move among at least the 3 middle wholes.

Is this a dress belt or casual belt?

Looking for a walnut colored dress belt to go with my walnut fifth avenue. Is this a dress or casual belt? And how do you tell the difference on all AE belts (aside from the 35mm)?
    Asked by: Yuri B.
The Bayview belt has a pebble grain texture and a casual buckle and it's considered to be a casual belt, but is simple enough that may be dressed up. For the Fifth Avenue we recommend also recommend dress belt like the Midland, Manistee, or Mackey belts. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
