I've been wearing AE shoes for decades after trying all the luxury shoe brands. I've always been a shoe nut having amassed over 100 pairs at one point until my wife demanded I select my favorites and gift the rest to charity. I kept all my AE's, some of which are more than twenty years old.
This pair of house mocassins are my third and most favored pair. I wish I could wear them to my office!
If you're considering these mocs, DO NOT hesitate. Your feet will thank you.
Footnote: I do not work for AE. I stay in my shoes for as much as 12-14 hours. I just love the quality, classic style, and fit.

Comfortable, very sturdily constructed
I go through a pair of house slippers every year or so. Seams split, the sole flaps, the fleece lining pills up, and one day they're unwearable. Although I've only had them for a couple of months, these appear to be made of sturdier stuff. But they're still comfortable after a break-in period.

What size is best for those in between sizes?
I wear 9EEE in 65 last or 9.5E in other lasts but Brannock at 10D. Im confused on which to size to get.

I am normally an 8.5 D in the 65 Last. Would you recommend the 8 or 9 in this style?
We suggest trying the size you typically wear in dress shoes and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes.
