STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and press against the edge of the heels and soles.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

Stirling Wingtip Boot is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 Strikes, I'm out. What has happened to AE quality? I have purchased and exchanged this shoe three times. The first time, the boots had finish problems and had major condition issues, notably mismatched coloring throughout the boot and a prevalent amount of creasing, that would not have been acceptable even on factory seconds. The second pair still had a fair amount of coloring issues but I thought that this could probably be resolved by a good polishing, but they also had a huge divot on the left boot which could not be resolved. The last, and final pair were in most ways better. The coloring was better, but was still not without issues, there was no creasing, but there was what could best be described as a burn mark, also on the left boot. I am not sure how any of these defects got by quality control but after three attempts I finally gave up and decided to go another route. Allen Edmonds, if you are listening, please bring back the quality that AE is known for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what it used to be Wow, surprised by what’s happened with new ownership. First wear and the heel fell off. Higher prices and less quality. How long before AE ends up like Nettleton, a classic name moved offshore for profits?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking boot, great for urban wear I live in a city and don't own a car - these are a great option for work (I need to look semi-professional, not suits but nice pants and tucked in button up) when there's snow and sleet coming down. They allow a bit of room for thicker socks if desired and the soles aren't bad on ice and snow. Also look good with jeans, which is nice. Salesman I worked with in store was quite helpful - I was originally looking at the McAllisters and he helped me choose these instead, which have served me really nicely this winter. Still holding up quite well after a full winter, worn a couple of times per week, and they're the right level of dressy. Very comfy.

Will Allen Edmonds sell this boot in the future with Dainite sole or leather sole?

I like the looks of this boot but I do not like the choice of sole. I think it would look much more elegant and professional looking with Dainite or leather soles.
    Asked by: Benjamin
Thank you for taking the time to tell us your thoughts. We value your feedback and it has been forwarded to the appropriate parties for future consideration. In the meantime, we suggest the Dalton style. It's a wingtip dress boot offered with either a leather or Dainite sole. Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

I am looking at the Long Branch Wingtip boot and the Stirling Wingtip Boot for wear this winter with my daily suit at work. Which one should i buy?

    Asked by: Rob
The Long Branch is a very casual boot. We suggest trying the Sterling as it is dressier and more appropriate for your needs. For a more formal look, we would recommend the Dalton, Liverpool, or Rafael styles. Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!

    Size 15

This boot has been available for a couple years now and I’m wondering how long until it’s made in size 15. Prior years we were told this is a new model and AE was waiting to see how the boot sold before offering more sizes. Since it keeps coming back I assume it’s selling well, so how long until the bigfoots get a chance to try? I’d love to buy a pair.
    Asked by: Mike
We are sorry that the Sterling is not available in a size 15. Please know we value your feedback and we'll forward it to the appropriate teams for consideration. In the meantime, we recommend taking a look at the Long branch or Dalton for a similar look. Feel free to contact us again if you have additional questions!
