    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather saddle soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with cream polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Next condition the shoes with speed polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take the heel dressing applicator and press against the edge of the heels and soles.

STEP 5: Apply leather lotion as needed for added protection and polish between cleanings.

*For camo printed material, simply rub leather lotion onto print with a white cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp white cloth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe! I'm very happy to have discovered AE shoes. The Fifth Ave is my first high quality dress shoe purchase. It's a great pair of shoes and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm also glad it's made in the USA.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dye came off after a quick wipe Got my Allen Edmonds Walnut Fifth Avenues a bit dirty after a short storm/drizzle. Perhaps my 5th wearing after a few months. After wiping the side of the shoe gently with piece of white handkerchief, two things were noticed. First, the white hankerchief had light walnut stains Second the dye came off the shoe. Hopefully I will be able to polish them back to original,.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too many flaws for shoes at this price point This is my 2nd review because I couldn't add on to the first. This has been a trying experience to purchase quality shoes. I realize I got them on sale, but $250 is still a lot for shoes. It took 3 pairs originally and a "2nd inspection" to finally get shoes that were satisfactory. I say satisfactory not because they were good, but because they were the least flawed. Anyway, the first time I polished them (Using Allen Edmonds cream polish and Saphir paste wax so GOOD stuff) there was an issue with a spot about the size of a quarter in the toe cap. This spot won't take polish like the rest of the shoe. So, now I have one shoe that looks wonderful and shiny and I have another shoe that looks great until you look at the toe. Unfortunately, since the toe is really the only thing you see when you wear them, this is a problem. I don't understand why there are so many problems for a shoe that's really starting to get up into expensive territory. I realize these aren't bespoke Lobb's but still, you shouldn't keep getting lemons over and over.....
