Tell us about who are you and what you do.

I regularly advocate and work with people with a variety of challenges. I do fundraisers and speak to new amputees on a regular basis. I am considered a leader in my community for all my efforts.

Tell us about your life's work.

I am photographer and a sommelier and over the last thirty-five years I’ve made careers out of both of my passions. Shooting and creating with the best in the world in addition to developing and running wine programs for great chefs and their restaurants.

How does your sense of pride inform what you do?

My pride and personal code never allow me to give anything less than my best to every project that I’m a part of.

What do you want your legacy to be?

The man that made you take a second look and discover sensual deliciousness.

What's your take on classic style?

Never make it seem like you’re trying and always wear one thing that’s a little off-kilter.

What do you look for in the perfect glass of wine?

Balanced complexity! You never want one aspect of the wine’s composition to overpower the others. Its aromas, flavors, texture, tension and energy combined should coalesce into a harmonious balance, whereby the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.
