Growing up a sneaker collector, Arian told us that as he started his career, he had a difficult time finding professional footwear that both fit his size 9.5 EEE feet and reflected his personal style.

“WHEN I WAS A MEDICAL STUDENT, I STRUGGLED TO FIND DRESS SHOES THAT WOULD FIT ME CORRECTLY. A QUICK SEARCH ONLINE AND A SHORT ROAD TRIP TO PORT WASHINGTON WITH A FEW CLASSMATES AND WE’VE BEEN LACING UP ALLEN EDMONDS EVER SINCE.”

Not only did Arian’s encounter with our footwear turn him into a long-term fan, it also led him to launch the Allen Edmonds Enthusiast group on Facebook. “After purchasing my first pair, I realized I didn’t know the first thing about dress shoes,” he said. “How to lace the shoe, how to keep them clean or what products to shine them. The group started with three guys in 2014 and has exploded over the years as more people become interested in maintaining a pair of quality shoes.” From the beginning we’ve been incredibly proud of the community surrounding our footwear. Now what’s even more inspiring is seeing the passion our enthusiasts bring to building connections and sharing their knowledge with each other.
