In building his studio in Florence, Alabama—away from the typical fashion hubs—he's singularly committed to creating styles with a lived-in luxury that will only get better with age.

After working as a designer in New York City, Billy wanted to relocate to a place where we could really put down roots when launching his label in 2004. His wife’s hometown of Florence, Alabama was the perfect location. Full of the intimate vibrancy of his childhood in Louisiana, it’s here that he founded his design studio and opened his first store in a repurposed historic property.

Carefully considered details like mother-of-pearl buttons, best-quality fabrics and custom developed prints give each of his pieces a timeless style and sophistication. As a gesture of his abiding Southern hospitality, every year Billy hosts The Shindig, a festival that brings together artists, musicians and makers whose work helps inspire his collections.
